Belgian Beer Weekend in Brussels
Brussels turns its historic Grand-Place into an open-air tasting hall each September, with more than fifty Belgian breweries, including all five Trappist producers, pouring several hundred beers over one weekend. Free to enter, pay-per-taste, and set inside one of Europe's most ornate public squares, it rewards visitors who come to sample widely rather than settle at one stand.
Brussels closes off its UNESCO-listed Grand-Place each September and hands the cobblestones over to more than fifty Belgian breweries pouring upward of 500 different beers.
