Privacy Policy

Last updated · 16 July 2026

We explain what we collect, why we collect it, and the choices you have.

01Introduction

Eventisimus respects privacy. We collect only what is reasonably needed to operate the site, improve it, and respond to people who contact us or contribute material.

This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and the choices you may have depending on your location.

02Who we are

Eventisimus is operated by Saas Tech DOOEL Skopje, North Macedonia.

Privacy contact: privacy@eventisimus.com.

03Scope

This policy applies to the Eventisimus website, festival discovery pages, map and search features, plus any contact or contributor features we offer now. Future newsletter or organizer tools will be covered here if they are launched later.

04Information we collect

Depending on how you use the site, we may collect the following categories of information:

  • Information you provide voluntarily, such as an email address, a contact message, contributor notes, photos, text, or festival details you submit.
  • Information collected automatically, such as device and browser details, IP address, pages visited, referral URLs, and basic usage logs or aggregated analytics if we use them.
  • Local device data, such as saved festivals, theme preferences, language preferences, and other browser storage choices.
  • Third-party interaction data, but only when you click an external link or interact with a partner site outside Eventisimus.

We do not require an account to browse the site.

05What we do not collect

  • We do not process ticket purchases through Eventisimus.
  • We do not provide payment processing for festival bookings.
  • We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal data unless you choose to send it to us.
  • We do not sell personal data.

06How we use information

  • Operate and maintain the website.
  • Remember preferences and saved items.
  • Improve content, search, navigation, and usability.
  • Respond to messages and manage contributor submissions or credits.
  • Send updates if you subscribe to them.
  • Protect the site, users, and infrastructure.
  • Comply with legal obligations where required.

07Legal bases

Where privacy law requires a legal basis, we may rely on pre-contract steps requested by the submitter, legitimate interests in maintaining accurate festival information and preventing abuse, consent for genuinely optional processing, and legal obligation where applicable.

08Cookies and local storage

We use cookies and browser storage sparingly. They may be used for site operation, preferences, saved festivals, and similar functionality.

For more detail, see our Cookie Policy.

09Location access

The map can ask your browser for location only when you explicitly use a location-based feature such as Near me. Your browser or device will ask for permission, and you can deny it or revoke it later in browser settings.

If you allow location access, the coordinates are used in the browser to center the map and show nearby results. Eventisimus does not write those coordinates to local storage or our database through this feature.

The map remains usable without location permission.

10Analytics

Eventisimus does not currently use a confirmed third-party analytics provider. If this changes, we will update this policy.

11Third-party links and partners

Eventisimus links to official festival pages, travel providers, map services, image sources, and other external sites or partners. Once you leave Eventisimus, their own privacy terms and practices apply.

12Contributor content and credits

If you submit photos, text, corrections, or festival details, we may process your name, contact details, source notes, and license information to review, credit, publish, or manage that submission.

13Organizer requests

Organizer claim and submission forms are not live yet. If we launch them later, we may collect your name, email address, optional phone number, job title, role or relationship to the festival, organization details, verification URLs, official social URLs, correction requests, notes, and technical abuse-prevention information such as a privacy-preserving IP hash where implemented.

  • If those tools go live, we would use that information to manually verify the request, communicate with you, review factual corrections, review new-festival submissions, prevent fraud or impersonation, and keep an audit trail where needed.
  • We do not ask for passports, national IDs, sensitive identity documents, payment data, date of birth, or residential address for organizer requests.
  • If enabled in the future, requests would be retained only for as long as reasonably necessary for verification, communication, dispute handling, fraud prevention, and recordkeeping, after which they would be deleted or anonymized unless a longer period is required by law.

Because the forms are not live yet, no organizer drafts are being created in the current launch.

14How information may be shared

  • With service providers that help us host, secure, or run the site.
  • With analytics providers, if we use them.
  • We do not currently run newsletter or organizer request services. If we add them later, we will update this policy and describe the provider involved.
  • With partners or external sites only as needed to open the link you selected.
  • Where required by law, regulation, or a valid legal request.

We do not sell personal data.

15International transfers

Some service providers may process data in countries outside your own. Where the law requires it, we use appropriate safeguards for those transfers.

16Data retention

We keep personal data only for as long as needed for the purpose it was collected, for legitimate business reasons, or to meet legal obligations. Local storage remains on your device until you clear it. If organizer forms are introduced later, any session-based drafts would be cleared automatically after a successful submission or when the session ends.

17Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical measures designed to protect information, but no online service can guarantee perfect security.

18Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or port personal data, and to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. You may also have the right to complain to a supervisory authority.

19Children

Eventisimus is not directed to children under 13 or the local minimum age that applies in your country. If you believe a child has submitted personal information, contact us so we can review and, where appropriate, remove it.

20Changes

We may update this policy as the site changes. The "last updated" date above shows the current version, and material changes may be highlighted on this page.
