The story

Bermuda Dive Festival in Bermuda reefs and dive sites

Bermuda Dive Festival is a three-day celebration of the island's reef and wreck diving, launched in May 2026 with the Loren at Pink Beach as lead host and ocean advocate and chef Valentine Thomas among its headline participants. The program pairs guided dives to sites such as the Cathedral and the wreck of the Pelinaion with ocean-to-table dinners, talks and social events, aimed at both certified divers and curious travelers wanting a taste of Bermuda's underwater scene.

Bermuda sits on a shallow northern reef platform ringed by more than three hundred documented shipwrecks, the accumulated wreckage of four centuries of transatlantic shipping running aground on a barrier reef that lies close to the surface in places and drops into deep water just beyond it.

What is special

The part that makes it specific.

01

The place changes

What sets the festival apart from an ordinary dive trip is the curated mix of underwater access and shoreside programming: guided outings to specific wreck and reef sites are paired with chef-led dinners, talks from ocean advocates and social events at a single host property, so participants get context and community around the diving rather than just tank time

02

The mystery stays covered

Bermuda's wreck density, one of the highest concentrations of accessible shipwrecks anywhere in the Atlantic, means a single festival weekend can include everything from a shallow coral cavern dive to a deeper historic wreck, which is unusual for a destination this compact
