Festival de Aves de Chile refers to a national network of city-based bird festivals anchored by the long-running Vina del Mar edition, running since 2007, and extended through separate events in Concepcion, along the Maipo river basin and elsewhere, organized largely through the Red de Observadores de Aves. Each edition pairs guided birdwatching excursions with talks and raptor exhibitions tailored to local species.
Chile's bird festival scene is less a single event than a loose national circuit, anchored by the long-running Festival de Aves de Chile in Vina del Mar, which has run continuously since 2007, and extended through separate city and valley editions organized by the Red de Observadores de Aves, the country's main birdwatching network.
