Lollapalooza Chile in Santiago
Lollapalooza Chile, held every March at Parque Bicentenario de Cerrillos in Santiago, was the first Lollapalooza staged outside the United States when it launched in 2011. Multiple stages run simultaneously over three days for a crowd nearing 100,000 people per day, mixing global headliners with Chilean and Latin American acts across festival grounds that function like a temporary city of food stalls, merchandise and moving crowds.
When Lollapalooza expanded outside the United States for the first time in 2011, Santiago was its first stop, and the Chilean edition has run every year since as the model other Latin American editions in Argentina and Brazil later followed.
