Odou Honey Festival in Odou
The Honey and Beekeeping Festival, hosted in the mountain village of Odou, is jointly organised by nine honey-producing villages of rural Larnaca, running roughly ten-thirty to six with more than twenty-five exhibitors showcasing honey, pollen, royal jelly, wax, propolis and honey-based gastronomic, beauty and wellness products across a full day of educational, hands-on exploration.
Nine separate villages of rural Larnaca, Odou, Melini, Kato Lefkara, Kato Drys, Vavla, Lagia, Ora, Agioi Vavatsinias and Vavatsinia, each individually known for honey production, jointly stand behind the Honey and Beekeeping Festival hosted in the mountainous village of Odou, giving this festival a genuinely multi-community organisational base rather than a single village acting alone.
