Oenotika Chania in Chania

An annual Cretan wine exhibition in Chania, running since 2007 under the name OinoKritika before becoming Oenotika, bringing together roughly three dozen wineries from across the island to pour new releases and aged vintages side by side, with proceeds partly directed to charity, timed each year early in the tourist season.

The first attempt to gather Crete's scattered wineries under one roof happened in 2007, when a Chania wine event originally called OinoKritika set out to represent the entire island's vineyard rather than a single region.
