Festival de la Naranja Guinope in Guinope
Guinope has held its Festival de la Naranja every year since 1981, drawing on citrus-growing communities like Santa Rosa and Manzaragua in El Paraiso department. Beyond orange-based food, the program includes bullfights, ribbon races, motocross, and youth pageants, giving this decades-old single-crop festival an unusually broad entertainment scope.
Guinope has celebrated its orange harvest with a dedicated festival every year since 1981, a run of more than four decades that makes it one of the longest continuously held single-crop festivals in Honduras.
