Tin Hau, the goddess of the sea, is honoured on the twenty-third day of the third lunar month at more than one hundred temples across Hong Kong. The largest gathering takes place at the Joss House Bay temple, where a flotilla of decorated fishing boats sails in, while smaller processions with lion dances and opera run at other temples citywide.

Tin Hau, the goddess of the sea also known as Mazu, is honoured across Hong Kong on the twenty-third day of the third lunar month at more than one hundred temples dedicated to her, making hers the most widely worshipped deity in the territory's temple network.
