Paloznak Jazz Picnic in Paloznak
A three-day jazz and wine event on a Balaton hillside village, grown since its 2012 founding into a four-stage program with around forty concerts, built around local wine, gourmet food, and an explicitly non-mass-festival atmosphere. Many attendees pair an evening at the festival with a full day exploring the surrounding wine hills.
A small village jamboree on a wine hill above Lake Balaton became Paloznak Jazz Picnic in 2012, built by Szabolcs Homola and Orsolya Valde around a local winery and an idea that good wine and quality music mattered more than mass-festival scale.
