Taste of Transylvania Szentendre in Szentendre
A gastronomic festival long held at Borospatak Skanzen in Romania's Gyimes hills crossed the border to Hungary's Skanzen museum in Szentendre for a debut late-March edition, showcasing Szekely, Romanian, Jewish, Saxon, and Armenian Transylvanian food traditions with Michelin-starred chefs and home cooks.
A gastronomic and cultural festival previously held in Transylvania itself, at the Borospatak Skanzen in the Gyimes hills region of Romania, crossed the border for the first time to Hungary's own Skanzen open-air museum in Szentendre in a recent late-March edition, staged specifically within the museum's reconstructed Transylvania region section representing historic Transylvanian village architecture.
