Artevento Cervia International Kite Festival in Cervia/Pinarella

Founded in 1981 by painter Claudio Capelli, Artevento Cervia fills the beaches of Cervia and Pinarella each spring with kite masters and sculptural kite artists from around the world. Organizers describe it as the longest continuously running international kite festival, pairing traditional kite-making cultures with contemporary aerial art.
