Treasure Beach Food Rum and Reggae Festival in Treasure Beach
Treasure Beach Food, Rum and Reggae Festival is a three-day south-coast tourism event launched in 2023, combining farm and rum-producer tours, culinary excursions, boat trips to Pelican Bar and reggae concerts from artists like Richie Spice and Jesse Royal, before Hurricane Melissa forced a relocation of its most recent staging to Kingston.
Hurricane damage has twice forced organizers to alter plans for the Treasure Beach Food, Rum and Reggae Festival since its 2023 debut, first pushing a break in scheduling after lingering effects from a storm, then relocating an entire staging away from the south coast after Hurricane Melissa struck St Elizabeth directly.
