Jordan Food Week in Amman
Jordan Food Week is a multi-day culinary showcase held at the Hangar venue in Ras Al Ain, Amman, featuring tastings from local restaurants and food producers, cooking demonstrations and talks on rural Jordanian recipes, launched with backing from a USAID enterprise-support project targeting small food businesses.
USAID's Jordan Local Enterprise Support Project backed the first Jordan Food Week, which ran across a full week at the Hangar venue in Ras Al Ain in downtown Amman, inviting locals, expatriates and tourists to taste the country's food producers under one roof, an initiative pitched at the time as the biggest culinary event Jordan had staged.
