GEG Lusofonia Festival in Taipa Houses and community venues

The GEG Lusofonia Festival is an annual autumn celebration of Portuguese-speaking culture staged at the Taipa Houses in Macao, organised jointly by the Cultural Affairs Bureau and Galaxy Entertainment Group over two consecutive weekends. It brings performers from Portuguese-speaking communities together with food, games and cultural displays representing ten distinct Lusophone communities present in Macao.

Each autumn, typically across two consecutive weekends, the Cultural Affairs Bureau and Galaxy Entertainment Group jointly stage the GEG Lusofonia Festival at the Taipa Houses, a cluster of early twentieth-century Portuguese-style residences on Taipa Island now preserved as a heritage and cultural venue.
