Lavender Fest Moldova in Cobustea/rotating lavender fields
Lavender Fest Moldova first opened June 20 in the lavender fields of Cobusca Noua village, Anenii Noi district, roughly 35 kilometres from Chisinau, where ethereal-oil crops have grown since 1948. The festival offers folk music, contests, master classes, family photo sessions, lavender-oil massage and an open-air classical concert across some 80 hectares of lavender, sage, fennel and rose.
The lavender fields around Cobusca Noua village did not appear for the sake of tourism.
