Festivalul Zemii in Sipoteni

Festivalul Zemii is a gastronomic festival held August 10 in Sipoteni commune, in Moldova's Calarasi district, at the La Salcii meadow. Centered on preparing and tasting traditional Moldovan chicken soup, or zeama, the festival is part of a Ministry of Culture-funded promotion project. Its 9th edition in 2025 hosted President Maia Sandu and Romanian President Nicusor Dan, with over 400 litres of soup prepared.
