Festivalul Gastronomic GurmanIA in Tarigrad

The GurmanIA Gastronomic Festival gathers residents and visitors in Tarigrad, a village in Moldova's Drochia district, on the last Sunday of July. Now in its seventh edition, the event turns the local square into an open kitchen, with cooks preparing sarmale, cheese and sugar-beet pies, boiled pretzels, black-and-white cake and polenta with roast, all served alongside regional wines and folk-costume displays.
