Dan Siruna Budva in Budva Old Town

Dan Sirina, the Day of Carangidae, is a fish-and-wine festival marking the traditional end of Budva's summer season, held in early October in the square before the Old Town walls. Organized by the Sports Fishing Society Sirun with the Budva Tourist Organization and Budva Municipality, the 58th edition took place on October 11, 2025, with tug-of-war and prosciutto-pulling games alongside tastings.

Dan Sirina, the Day of Carangidae, takes its name from the fish family known in English as jacks or mackerel scad, a group of small coastal fish long caught by local anglers along the Budva Riviera.
