Blueberry Days in Plav

Blueberry Days, known locally as Dani Borovnice, is a free festival held each July in Plav celebrating the wild blueberry harvest of the surrounding Prokletije mountains. Running 10 to 14 days, the event includes a Miss Blueberry pageant and tastings of blueberry cordial, rakija, wine and vinegar, drawing on the fruit as the centerpiece of the town's summer calendar. The 2026 edition opens July 12.
