Priganica Fest in Virpazar
Priganica Fest is a food festival in Virpazar centered on priganice, a traditional fried pastry served with local honey and paired with regional wines. The event is staged across the village's three stone bridges and along the Skadar Lake shore, and is organized jointly by the National Parks Public Enterprise, the Bar Tourist Organization, the Virpazar local community and area konobas, the small family-run taverns typical of the region.
Virpazar is built around water and stone: a small village on the northern shore of Skadar Lake, connected by three old bridges that cross the channels and inlets running through it, with vineyards on the surrounding slopes and beekeeping a common household activity in the wider region.
