Kwaku Summer Festival in Amsterdam

Kwaku Summer Festival is a multi-weekend celebration of Amsterdam's Surinamese, Caribbean and West African communities, held each summer at Nelson Mandela Park in the city's southeast. Tracing back to a 1975 football tournament called Kwakoe, it now draws hundreds of thousands of visitors for music, food, a Caribbean market and youth football over several weekends.
