The story

Skopje Street Food Festival in Skopje

Skopje Street Food Festival is a five-day culinary event held in the parking lot in front of the Comedy Theatre in Skopje, North Macedonia. The 2025 edition ran June 18 to 22, bringing together more than 20 local vendors serving their signature street dishes alongside live music performances. Ten percent of proceeds fund meals for socially vulnerable residents through a partnership with the organization Retweet Meal.

What is special

The part that makes it specific.

01

The place changes

What sets this festival apart is its combination of casual street-food browsing with a direct social mission: a share of every sale supports meals for people in need, through the Retweet Meal partnership, so eating here has a tangible community benefit beyond the food itself

02

The mystery stays covered

The vendor lineup covers more than 20 stalls representing a wide range of cuisines and cooking styles, giving visitors an unusually dense concentration of food options within one central Skopje location

03

The city starts moving

Live music runs throughout the event, and the 2025 edition introduced an exchange collaboration with Street Food Festival Belgrade, bringing vendors and ideas across the regional food-festival circuit and linking Skopje's street-food scene to a wider Balkan network of similar events
