Quriyat Lake Park Heritage Festival in Quriyat
Quriyat, a coastal town roughly 90 kilometres southeast of Muscat, is one of the eight venues in the Muscat Nights festival, centering its programming on Oman's maritime heritage and the surrounding Wadi Dayqah Dam landscape. Food and craft stalls sell Sharqiya region specialties such as dried fish, dates, honey, and handicrafts made from repurposed fishing nets and shells.
Quriyat's inclusion among Muscat Nights' eight venues extends the festival's reach well beyond the capital's urban core, pulling in a coastal town about 90 kilometres from central Muscat that has its own distinct economic and cultural history built on fishing and small-scale maritime trade.
