Embarcate - Dia del Terere in Asuncion

A special edition of Embarcate, a recurring cultural program at the Puerto de Asuncion Cultural Center, dedicated to Paraguay's National Tereré Day, combining a free artisan fair for tereré accessories, yerba brand tastings, folk dance workshops, and an evening concert celebrating the country's most emblematic beverage.

Tereré, the cold infusion of yerba mate sipped through a metal bombilla from a wooden or horn guampa, is more than a drink in Paraguay: it is a formally recognized national symbol.
