Expoalimentaria Peru in Lima
Expoalimentaria is Peru's largest food and beverage industry trade fair, organized by the exporters' association ADEX and held annually in Lima each September. It brings together food producers, packaging suppliers, and international buyers around Peru's major export categories, from coffee, cacao, and quinoa to fresh fruit, seafood, and processed foods, positioning the country as a food-exporting power in front of a global business audience.
Peru's food export sector grew rapidly from the early 2000s onward, as agricultural modernization along the irrigated desert coast and rising global demand for products like quinoa, avocados, blueberries, table grapes, and asparagus turned the country into one of the world's fastest-growing fresh produce exporters.
