Manggahan Festival in Guimaras
The Manggahan Festival is a month-long agricultural, cultural, and food festival celebrating Guimaras mangoes, grown in the Philippine province recognized as the country's mango capital, producing more than 12,000 metric tons a year of a variety considered the nation's sweetest. First held May 22, 1993, coinciding with Guimaras becoming an independent province, the 2026 main festivities run May 15 through 24, featuring an agri-trade fair, an anniversary parade, and an eat-all-you-can mango event.
Each May, Guimaras, a small Philippine province that has built its identity around a single fruit, stretches its Manggahan Festival across nearly a full month, with its main festivities concentrated into roughly ten days.
