Malina Raspberry Festival in Novoselki

Malina celebrates Novoselki's long-standing raspberry harvest each July in Ryazan Oblast's Rybnovsky district, a village whose berries were already being barged up the Oka River to Moscow markets in the nineteenth century. The festival, running annually since 2007, combines a raspberry bazaar and food stalls along Pirogovaya Street with folk performances, children's activities and craft vendors.
