Each summer, hundreds of costumed paddlers take to Suzdal's Kamenka River for a lighthearted stand-up paddleboard carnival that has grown quickly since starting as a small gathering among friends. The roughly three-kilometer route winds past the historic town's churches and monasteries, followed by an SUP-polo championship, live music, a food court, and traditional tea served from a samovar on the riverbank.
