Rwanda National Agriculture Show in Kigali/Mulindi Showground

The Rwanda National Agriculture Show is a ten-day agricultural expo held each July at Mulindi Show Ground in Kigali, first launched in 2003 by President Paul Kagame and organized by the Ministry of Agriculture and Animal Resources with the Rwanda Agriculture and Animal Resources Development Board. Its 19th edition in 2026 drew more than six hundred exhibitors and over fifty-three thousand visitors.

In July 2003, Rwanda's President Paul Kagame launched a new kind of public event: a national showcase built specifically around agriculture, at a time when the country was still rebuilding its economy and institutions less than a decade after the 1994 genocide.
