Belgrade Beer Fest in Belgrade
Belgrade Beer Fest is Southeastern Europe's largest beer festival, founded in 2003 and held every mid-August, now on Usce park at the confluence of the Sava and Danube rivers. Combining beer tastings from domestic and international breweries with a large multi-stage concert program, it has drawn as many as 500,000 visitors in a single edition.
When Belgrade Beer Fest launched in August 2003, it opened not in a purpose-built festival field but on the grounds of Kalemegdan Fortress, the city's ancient citadel overlooking the confluence of the Sava and Danube rivers.
