Pezinok Wine Harvest in Pezinok
The Pezinok Grape Harvest Festival is Slovakia's largest vinobranie, filling the town center streets of Pezinok every third weekend of September. With roots reaching back to the 13th century and a renewed modern tradition dating almost 80 years, it combines fresh young wine tastings, an allegorical harvest parade, music and regional food across a full weekend.
Pezinok sits roughly 20 kilometers southwest of Bratislava at the foot of the Little Carpathian hills, a wine-growing town whose documented winemaking history reaches back to the 13th century, making it one of the oldest continuously recognized wine communities in the region.
