Refuscus Mundi in Izola/Koper
Refuscus Mundi is an international wine festival in Izola dedicated entirely to Refosk (Refosco), the signature red grape of Slovenian Istria and the Karst. Held on historic Manzioli Square in a building dating to 1490, it draws over 40 winemakers from Slovenia, Italy, and Croatia.
Refuscus Mundi gathers wine producers from three countries around a single grape variety: Refosk, known as Refosco in Italy, the deep-ruby red grape that stands as the most important and widespread red variety across Slovenian Istria and the Karst region.
