Each 29 June, residents of Haro climb the Riscos de Bilibio cliffs outside town and spend about an hour dousing each other with red Rioja wine using wineskins, buckets, and sprayers, a custom tied to a historic land dispute with neighboring Miranda de Ebro, followed by bull-running and further festivities back in town.
