Chur Festival in Chur
Churer Fest fills the old town of Chur, one of Switzerland's oldest settlements, with a few days of live music, food stalls and market activity each August. It is generally understood to blend a food-and-drink market with several small concert stages rather than focusing on one theme, drawing mostly regional visitors from around Graubunden. The compact, pedestrian old town keeps everything within walking distance of the train station.
Churer Fest turns Chur's compact old town, often described as Switzerland's oldest continuously inhabited town, into an open-air summer festival for a few days each August, with stages, market stalls and food vendors filling the narrow streets and squares of the historic center.
