Festival of Art Music and Culture for Peace in Arusha

From 17 to 22 March 2026, Arusha hosted the Festival of Art, Music and Culture for Peace, Non-Violence and Food Sovereignty, five days of performances, visual art and dialogue organized under the World Humanist Forum's thematic table on Music, Art and Culture. Hosted by the local organizations Four Rivers of Blessings and MTO Wa Baraka, it drew humanist artists from across East and Southern Africa.

Each March, the city of Arusha, gateway to Tanzania's northern safari circuit and seat of regional diplomatic institutions, becomes host to a different kind of gathering.
