The Big Feastival in Kingham
A family food and music festival held on Alex James's two-hundred-acre working farm near Kingham in the Cotswolds since its 2011 founding by the Blur bassist alongside chef Jamie Oliver. Combining major musical acts with Michelin-starred chefs and street food, it draws around twenty-five thousand visitors each year.
The Big Feastival was founded in 2011 by Alex James, best known as the bassist of the band Blur, working alongside chef Jamie Oliver, staged on James's own two-hundred-acre farm near Kingham in the Cotswolds, a working agricultural property James had taken on and diversified into cheesemaking, fruit and vegetable growing and livestock farming after his music career.
