Astoria Warrenton Crab Seafood and Wine Festival in Astoria
Held annually since 1982 at the Clatsop County Fair and Expo Center, the Astoria Warrenton Crab and Wine Fest gathers around 150 vendors of coastal cuisine, more than 50 Oregon wineries, craft beer, live tribute bands and more than 100 artisan booths on the last weekend of April.
The Astoria-Warrenton Area Chamber of Commerce launched what would become the Astoria Warrenton Crab and Wine Fest in 1982, building the event around two of the North Coast's defining resources: Dungeness crab pulled from the waters off the Columbia River's mouth, and the wine industry that had begun establishing itself across Oregon in the preceding decade.
