Oregon Truffle Festival in Eugene
The Oregon Truffle Festival celebrates the Willamette Valley's native truffles across several winter weekends in Eugene and Yamhill Valley, anchored by the Joriad North American Truffle Dog Championship, the only spectator truffle-dog competition of its kind in North America, alongside chef-led tastings and forest cultivation science.
Oregon's forests, particularly the Douglas fir stands of the Willamette Valley and the Coast Range, produce their own native truffle species, a fact known to foragers and a handful of chefs for decades before it became the basis for an organized festival.
