Paul Bunyan Days has celebrated Fort Bragg's logging heritage on California's Mendocino Coast since 1939, running each Labor Day weekend across four days of free or low-cost events. Highlights include a Logging Show and Forest Expo, an Ugly Dog Contest, a Kiddie Parade, games and tricycle races, and the Historic Dress Review, closing with the Paul Bunyan Parade of fire departments, youth teams, and heritage floats through downtown.
