Mountain Brewers Beer Fest in Idaho Falls

Every June, more than 100 breweries pour hundreds of beers, ciders, seltzers, and cocktails under 40,000 square feet of tents at Sandy Downs Arena in Idaho Falls for the Mountain Brewers Beer Fest. Run by the volunteer North American Brewers Association since the mid-1990s, the one-day, 21-and-over event has donated well over a million dollars to local charities over its history.

The Mountain Brewers Beer Fest traces its roots to around 1995, when a handful of breweries set up pop-up tents behind the Shiloh Inn as an offshoot of Idaho Falls's local Mayfest celebration.
