Leavenworth Oktoberfest is a beer festival held across multiple weekends each October in Leavenworth, the Chelan County town rebuilt as a Bavarian-style alpine village starting in the 1960s. The current Chamber of Commerce-run event features a large tented beer garden, German and Pacific Northwest food, oompah bands, and stein-hoisting competitions set against the town's alpine-themed storefronts.

Leavenworth's transformation into a Bavarian-style alpine village began in 1962, when the Project LIFE committee, short for Leavenworth Improvement For Everyone, partnered with the University of Washington to find a way to revive a former logging and railroad town whose economy had collapsed after the mills closed and the railroad's division point relocated.
