Little River ShrimpFest in Little River
Little River ShrimpFest celebrates the fishing village's local seafood heritage each October along the Historic Little River Waterfront. Now in its twentieth year, the two-day festival gathers more than one hundred arts, crafts, food, and community vendors under the waterfront's live oaks, alongside two stages of live music, stilt walkers, and balloon artists.
Little River ShrimpFest grew out of the same working-harbor identity that defines much of the town itself, a historic fishing village on South Carolina's northern coast that has supplied shrimp and other seafood to the region for generations.
