Frogman Festival in Loveland
The Frogman Festival gathers cryptid enthusiasts in Loveland, Ohio, not Colorado, to celebrate the Loveland Frog, a frog-faced creature first reported in 1955 along the Little Miami River. Founded by Jeff Craig in 2023, the March event fills the Oasis Conference Center with more than 60 vendors, cryptozoology speakers, a costumed Frogman parade, and live reptile displays built around the enduring local legend.
A cryptid sighting from 1955 gave Loveland, Ohio a permanent nickname, and the Frogman Festival turns that legend into a single-day gathering held each March.
