Magnolia Blossom Festival and World Championship Steak Cook-Off in Magnolia
Magnolia's Blossom Festival began in 1950 as a Sidewalk Art Show and grew, by 1989, into a full festival, with the World Championship Steak Cook-Off joining the following year. Held the third Saturday in May, the event now grills thousands of Certified Angus Beef ribeyes on the historic downtown square for a Governor's Cup trophy and cash prizes.
Magnolia, Arkansas's signature festival did not begin with steak at all.
