The Pea Ridge Mule Jump, held each October since its 1985 origins as part of a fall festival called Battlefield Daze, is a competition built around mules jumping a raised bar from a standstill. Now its own branded event, it also includes barrel racing, hog calling, and roughly 100 vendors selling food, crafts, and Ozark-themed goods.
