Anthrocon in Pittsburgh

Anthrocon is an annual furry convention held each June or July at the David L. Lawrence Convention Center in Pittsburgh. First held in 1997 in Albany, New York, it has been based in Pittsburgh since 2006 and drew more than 20,000 attendees in 2026, making it one of the largest and longest-running gatherings for fans of anthropomorphic animal art and costuming in the world.
