Northwest Chocolate Festival in Seattle
The Northwest Chocolate Festival is North America's largest gathering of artisan chocolate makers, founded in 2008 and now held each autumn at the Meydenbauer Center in Bellevue, near Seattle. More than one hundred craft chocolate makers from over thirty countries set up tasting booths, workshops, and competitions across the multi-building venue over a single weekend.
The Northwest Chocolate Festival was founded in 2008 as the craft, or bean-to-bar, chocolate movement was beginning to take shape as a distinct category separate from mass-market confectionery.
