National Blueberry Festival in South Haven
The National Blueberry Festival is a four-day summer festival held every August in South Haven, Michigan, a Lake Michigan beach town at the heart of the state's blueberry-growing region. Established in 1970 alongside the city's centennial celebration, the festival now fills early August with live music, a 5K walk and run, a parade, a farm day, and a youth program celebrating the local blueberry harvest.
Its crop identity and lake-town setting make it a strong Michigan food row.
