Swiss Wine Festival in Vevay
The Swiss Wine Festival is a late-August celebration in Vevay, Indiana, the Ohio River town settled by Swiss vintners in the early nineteenth century. The multi-day festival features wine tastings from more than a dozen Indiana wineries, a beer garden, live music, arts and crafts, and a 5K run, and coincides with Vevay's recognition as a top small Midwest town.
Vevay, Indiana takes both its name and its founding economy from Switzerland.
